“On fire” is a rooftop restaurant located Wakad which offers one of the best sunset view in the city. This place serves North Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Fast Food, Continental with an option of buffet on few specific days as well.
The place is full of colorful flags from all over the world which denotes the array of food they serve here. Paintings, antique telephone, etc add limelight to this place.
- Mandarin Mojito
Perfect cooler to go with the food. This one had fresh orange, mint, lime juice & crushed ice.

- On Fire Shooters
These were the mocktails in vodka glasses which fuelled fire surrouned by it.It’s made of cranberry, peach, orange, lime & passion fruit.

Tom Kha Gai
The Tom Kha Gai is a Thai coconut soup which is hot & sour soup. The rich taste of fresh coconut amazed my taste buds but sadly the tiny chopped chicken pieces & huge vegetables like brocolli, babycorn, etc ruined the proportion of it.

The Insalata Caprese is a regular Italian salad but in this one had the mozzarella cheese replaced with crumbled cheese. The Asian noodles salad was the best thing we had so far, the crispy fried noodles tossed with sweet tomato like sauce with chicken strips tasted superb.

- Paneer Chilly/Mushrrom/ Babycorn chilli(Veg)
All these three starters had dried up totally with a very meagre amount of sauce coating them. The paneer had become totally shrunk & was served with some tossed bell peppers. I would suggest the team to serve these in skewers as it will keep them firm.

- Jamaican cottage cheese skewer(Veg)
This paneer starter had thick paneer cubes coated with burnt spices and served with cilantro mint mayo. I couldn’t taste the original taste of the dish due to the over done masala coating.

- Cheesey starters(Veg)
Broccoli never tasted this better. The cheesy dips were immaculate specially the Dahi ke kebab which had spicy onions rings served on side. The cheesy consistency in these was to a perfect extent & were served with pink pony dip.

Non Veg Starters
The Mexican fiery grill chicken are definitely recommended for those bored with the KFC chicken. These are the char grilled chunks of fleshy chicken topped with spicy mix & for just Rs 249 these are surely worth a try. The Cheesy garlic prawns is a must for all cheese lovers, the tender prawns concocted well withe the cheesy sauce. The Texas BBQ chicken wings were the star of the evening, the BBQ sauce layered perfectly over the fleshy chicken pieces. Kakori kebabs are the tandoor done minced mutton flavoured with smoked spices. The tender meat is a melt in the mouth and went well with the green chutney.
For the mains we ordered the Murg mutton josh, Veg biryani & Paneer tikka masala which went extremely well with the garlic naans. The soft tender mutton bone pieces gave a rich flavor of onion gravy. The Veg biryani was one of the best i had in while, the homely made raita couldn’t have been better and went well with the biryani.
The fried ice cream were something which which attracted our attention. the vanilla & chocolate ice cream scoops were batter fried, topped with chocolate syrup & sugar crystals. overall a great deal, will suggest them to someway reduce the taste of oil.
The restaurant also offers pocket friendly lunch buffet form Friday-Sunday.
