Culture Pune is the recent entry to the glam standards of FC Road, opened in place of ” By The Way” from the same owner Mr. Hrishikesh. The menu includes a ton of drinks inspired from round the globe & also a very promising global food menu.

Ambience…

The ambience here at Culture Pune gets a very solid dark look from the low lighting, graffiti & world map(depicting cocktails & food from all over the world). The unfinished wall adds to the limelight of this place. The upper floor has limited) members only section (17 passes) where one can bring there own drinks & have a chill time.

Drink….

  • Tulshibaag-Basil Garden

The Tulshibaag drink was the one which showcased Indian culture in a very different way. The drink consists of fresh melon, vodka & basil.

The starters…

 The Paneer Sofiyani Tikka were the tender paneer cubes marinated with spicy masalas which could have been a bit more spicier. The Rawa Tawa Bombil Fry had a crispier coating on the outside and the inside was nicely filled with the juicy tender fish. The essence of Maharashtrian masalas dominated the dish flavours.  The Tossed Thai Basil Chicken had a good creamy layer covered over it, overall a good non veg dish tossed in a healthy basil mix.

The Mains…

The mains had very mixed reviews as we had the Spicy Chicken which had hardly any spice or chilly to it and on the other hand the Daab Chingri (Prawns curry) which i will surely have on my next visit here. Strangely there are only non-veg burgers on the menu of which we had the Double Decker Chicken Burger & can say it was a fair deal. A lot of veggies, french fries, fried chicken, omlette & mayonnaise on the side surely made this a pretty humongous one. Paprika Chicken & Teriyaki Chicken were a disaster as none of them went went well with the spaghetti & garlic bread served on the side. The Ratatouille Pilaf Baked Cauliflower with Fried Garlic were extremely good. The Baked cauliflower is a cauliflower & butter mix served with golden fried garlic. I will suggest if the team can make the cauliflower pieces a little smaller. The Ratatouille Pilaf is their European version of Veg Pulao where the slow cooked veggies went nice with the mixed herbs & aromatic rice.

The Desserts…

The desserts were the best thing of the evening with each one satiating us to the full. The Bourbon Panna Cotta, Old Monk Mousse Shot & Raspberry Creme Brulee were just the perfect ending, mousse Shot are a delight to any old monk or alcohol lover.

With some creative drinks, starters, mains & desserts on the menu this place has surely the cultural touch to attract the Puneri crowd.
